Lange 1 perpetual calendar white gold lifestyle 1
Tradition and technology artistically paired. The LANGE 1 PERPETUAL CALENDAR is a timepiece that reflects the experience of several generations of watchmakers. As complex as it may be, the new self-winding calibre L021.3 with the Lange outsize date and moon phase with an integrated day/night indicator has a well-organised dial that makes it eminently legible. Thanks to its suave design, a look at the watch is a delight for the enthusiast. The white-gold edition with the solid pink-gold dial is limited to 150 pieces.

The perpetual calendar is back this year on a Lange 1 for 2021, this time with an elegant rotating ring on the outside of the dial showing the 12 months of the year.

It is 20 years since A. Lange & Söhne unveiled its first perpetual calendar watch, the Langematik Perpetual, and the complication has appeared several times since including a first Lange 1 piece in 2012 on a tourbillon piece.

There are two versions of the 150-piece 41.9mm limited edition, one with a rose gold case, hands and hour markets on a grey dial, the other with a white gold case, hands and markets on a solid pink gold dial.

The pink gold piece is priced at £87,900 while the white gold reference is £97,600.

A new self-winding movement L021.3, based on the Daymatic’s calibre L021.1, drives hours and minutes on the largest sub dial with seconds and a moonphase in the other.

Lange’s signature big date is at 11 o’clock and a day of the week jumping hand is at 9 o’clock.
