A lange munich store

A. Lange & Söhne opens two new boutiques

German watch brand A. Lange & Söhne has opened two new stores in Europe, including its first Swedish boutique in the city of Stockholm, with the aim of building on its fan base in Scandanavia.

Lange general manager for northern Europe Andreas Haude said: "The partnership with one of the most prestigious watch dealers in the country finally gives our Swedish brand enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase Lange watches locally.

"Additionally, we are delighted that our partner is passionately committed to the Lange brand and can leverage its in-depth experience to assure unprecedented customer service."

The opening follows the inauguration of a new boutique in Munich, which opened late last year. The Munich shop is operated in cooperation with long-time partner Wempe Jewellers, which has a presence on Bond Street in London.

The new Munich space is designed to take visitors on a journey through the manufactory’s Saxon homeland, with a small library, and a watchmaker’s workstation.

Haude added: "Many people with an affinity for beautiful watches live in and around Munich. From the very beginning, A. Lange & Söhne has had a loyal and growing community of fans here."

The brand now operated 12 stores worldwide, having opened its first in 2007.
