£98,000 HYT goes on sale at Mr Porter

The H 1.0 timepiece created exclusively for Mr Porter will appear later this year. It has a black dial and black DLC coated 48.8mm case housing HYT’s patented micro-fluidic module, and fitted on a black rubber strap.

You may need a platinum credit card next time you head to Mr Porter’s watch section because HYT has put a tightly edited selection of eight timepieces on sale there.

Prices start at £33,000 and top out at £98,000.

Remarkably, there have been even more expensive watches for sale at Mr Porter in the past. A Bell & Ross sapphire watch was listed for £355,000 and a unique Roger Dubuis was up for £245,000.

The latest curated collection includes an exclusive limited edition HYT H1.0 timepiece – with only 5 pieces available globally — alongside H0, H 1.0, H 2.0 Time is Fluid and Skull 48.8 collections.

“We are thrilled to be launching HYT, a brand that continues to push the boundaries of technology and design within its watches. HYT’s contemporary collections are well suited to our customers who crave that something special and unique – while providing Mr Porter’s watch category with a completely new type of product offering and adding to our growing roster of independent brands,” says Toby Bateman, managing director at Mr Porter.
