Back in 2019, pre-owned watch store The Hour House in Mayfair made headlines when Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews was forced to hide in the retailer’s vault because it was under attack by violent gang.
Thankfully nobody was hurt in that raid, and Mr Matthews even got a vintage Rolex Daytona back that he was collecting on the day of the attack.
Now the 15-year-old business is being rebranded from Hour House to Official Watches after a makeover.
Co-owners Dino Costas and Lucas Lucas have not explained why the rebranding was required, but stress it will still be a destination for a wide range of luxury watches to suit all styles and wearers.
They publicly state they have: “a world wide network of suppliers to source rare ‘unicorn’ pieces on request”.
