Parmigiani’s first unveiling for 2019 is aimed at the affluent female end of the market with a rose gold update to the Tonda Métropolitaine Sélène range that was first launched in 2016.
The watch, which will be seen for the first time at January’s SIHH, has a new in house movement, the PF318, in a 33.7mm case displaying hours, minutes, small seconds, date and moon phase on a white mother of pearl dial featuring a lotus flower in solid rose gold.
A sparkling bezel is adorned with 76 brilliant-cut diamonds.
The PF318 self-winding movement has a power reserve of 50 hours thanks to two series-mounted barrels.
The movement, which is visible through the watch’s sapphire case back, is decorated with the Côtes de Genève stripe.
