The king of GPS, Garmin, has been making greater and greater strides with its watch offering over the past couple of years.

It stands out for its GPS specialism and not trying to go toe-to-toe with with mainstream watch brands.

The Vivoactive 3 GPS Smartwatch allows for heart rate monitoring and also contains contactless payment technology.

It wouldn’t be a Garmin without GPS technology built in, which means that you can track your activity without having to be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.

It also manages to avoid one of the key pitfalls of smartwatches by having a battery that lasts for up to seven days in ‘smartwatch mode’.
