Mauron Musy, a Swiss brand created by self-proclaimed watch making mavericks Eric Mauron and Christophe Musy, have patented a new watch seal system that will be unveiled with its Black Steel Armure at Basel.
The company claims it has assigned to history the need to use gaskets or adhesives in order to ensure a watch is water tight.
The watch crown can also be used under water without any risk of leaks into the mechanism or dial.
The 43mm Black Steel Armure uses a mechanical self-winding ETERNA Calibre 3909A movement which delivers 68 hours of power.
It is water resistant to 100 metres.
