100 BRANDS AT BASELWORLD: No.41 – Girard-Perregaux

Girard-Perregaux has reinterpreted its iconic Girard-Perregaux 1966 watch with an 18K pink gold case featuring an exclusive guilloché dial for men and women.

The delicate guilloché work – twelve sectors of concentric pattern radiating from the centre of the dial – provide the backdrop to a classic face.

The hours are marked by baton-shaped indexes, passed over by the collection’s characteristic leaf-shaped hands.

The rose gold case has a delicately inclined bezel set with 60 diamonds in the ladies version.

The sapphire crystal case-back of the 38mm men’s timepiece reveals the ultra-thin GP03300 self-winding movement.

The mainplate and bridges are drawn, beveled, circular-grained and decorated with Côtes de Genève motifs.

Containing 205 parts, it has a 46-hour power reserve with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The 30mm ladies model is powered by the GP03200 movement that is also self-winding.

“Girard-Perregaux shows once again the timeless Haute Horlogerie character of the 1966 collection and its capacity to constantly reinvent its long tradition with these two models,” the company says.
