Zenith marks 150th anniversary with Harrods promo

LVMH brand Zenith, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year, will mark the occassion with a four window special display at Harrods in May.

The company, which was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland, by George Favre-Jocot in 1865, has a raft of events planned this year including the release of the Academy Georges Favre-Jacot masterpiece, which will feature in the Harrods display.

The El Primero has a 50 hour power reserve and is limited to a run of, naturally, 150 units.

“Zenith is delighted to announce an exclusive partnership with Harrods as part of its 150th Anniversary celebrations. For May 2015, the luxury Swiss watch brand will occupy four windows at the famous Brompton Road department store and curate an eye-catching exhibition in Harrods’ world-famous Fine Watch Room,” Zenith promises.

Other limited edition timepieces will also be on sale as part of the promotion including the El Primero Chronomaster 1969, which is again limited to 150 pieces.
