Zenith invites Basel-goers to take an Uber ride in style

Zenith has teamed up with taxi app specialist Uber to offer classic car rides for free to visitors at Baselworld.

The experience started yesterday and will run until Sunday 20 March.

To enjoy a free ride in one of the classic cars, simply switch over to ‘UberZENITH’ in the Uber app between 3pm and 9pm.

The Swiss watch manufacturer is using the initiative as part of its promotion to celebrate the cult of classic cars and its passionate fans.

It partners with more than 50 major motor events around the world every year, including the Tour Auto Optic 2000, HERO Cup and SVRA championship.

Aldo Magada, CEO of Zenith, said: “Timeless mechanics, ageless curves and a vintage look, everything about these cars perfectly fit the pursuit of excellence, style and eternity embraced by Zenith. This partnership with Uber give us the opportunity to share with Baselworld visitors the passion we share and the pleasure we have partnering with legendary events.”
