Zenith watches has chosen Aurum timepiece retailer Watches of Switzerland (WoS) as its first UK online retailer, in a move that WoS has said confirms the close relationship between the two companies.
In a release on its site WoS said: “We are very proud to announce that you can now purchase Zenith watches on the Watches of Switzerland website. Zenith has chosen Watches of Switzerland to be its first online UK retail partner – a sign of the close relationship we have with the brand and the trust they place in us to get it right when it comes to representing them both in our showrooms and online.”
The company has promised that anyone buying a Zenith online will “comes with all the same guarantees you’d get in our showrooms”.
WoS launched its online transactional site last year, offering about 50% of its watch collections online.
Ruth Benford e-commerce and marketing director for Watches of Switzerland said last year: “We are extremely excited about the launch of this unique transactional website, as we continue to invest in our e-commerce platforms to enhance our customer offer.
"We wanted to provide our customers with a rich content experience, giving them a similar high end shopping experience that they would otherwise get in store. We are very encouraged by the response we have had to date and are confident both our customers and brand partners will be delighted with this innovative concept."
Watches of Swtizerland currently operates 13 of its own stores with three in Heathrow and a further two specialist Rolex and Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques in central London.
