The Zenith boutique on the Rue du Rhône in Geneva was broken into last night, according to a post on the watch brand’s Facebook page.
The post stated that the break in occurred between 5 and 6am and that "initial observations indicate that the burglars smashed through the front door using a ram-raid vehicle, before making off with the contents of the Boutique’s inside displays".
Police have been onsite to gather information but no details have yet been released about the estimated value of the goods that were stolen.
The post added that efforts are being made to make the boutique operational again and that the boutique will be open to guests on August 29 as originally planned for the traditional Geneva grape harvest celebrations.
