In November WatchPro unveiled its Watches of the Year 2013, made up of 10 winning timepieces and 90 highly commended watches that we felt boasted commercial appeal, innovation and had wowed consumers and retailers alike over the past 12 months.
Highly commended for the WatchPro Sports Watch of the Year 2013 was the Edifice EQW-A1200RB.
Casio brand Edifice unveiled the sensor-chronograph EQW-A1200RB this year, in celebration of its partnership with Infiniti Red Bull Racing, complete with its sports-friendly anti-vibration properties and compass.
Created in consultation with Infiniti Red Bull Racing Formula One engineers and mechanics, this special watch is based on the vibration-resistant EQW-A1200 model, which also burst onto the scene in 2013.
The watch features the Red Bull team colours of blue and red and the team logo is emblazoned on the dial.
Just like the EQW-A1200, this new limited-edition model has a compass function that operates with a small sensor and a Smart Access System to record lap times.
If it’s good enough for Vettel and Webber then it’s good enough for us.
