While borrowing from the art of the late, great New York street artist Jean-Michel Basquiat to create watches might not exactly be fashionable, it does make for a beautiful capsule collection of six watches ranging in size from 36mm-46mm.
The dials all feature a 4 o’clock crown – as is the the Komono way – and cases come in black, grey, silver and gold tones. Each features Basquiat’s Crown monogram prominently.
Each of the six watches is themed around a specific Basquiat painting and the straps are cut from different areas of a fabric print of those artworks. This means that each watch sold will likely feature a unique strap. Komono continues to shock, surprise and excite with watches like these.
