Highly Commended Mechanical Watch of the Year – Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Lune Rétrograde
The Lune Rétrograde combines two complications in one timepiece, powered by Maurice Lacroix’s in-house manufacture ML 192 movement.
This automatic wristwatch measures 43mm and has a striking dial design depicting the hours, date, days of the week, moonphase and a dynamic power reserve indicator at two o’clock that is represented by a graduating set of gold markers.
The ML 192 movement, manufactured entirely in house, is Swiss-made and can be viewed through its sapphire open caseback.
The Lune Rétrograde has plenty of sumptuous finishes including brushed vertical and Grand Colimaçon finishes on the complication, diamond-cut applied hours, a silver dial and a range of choice straps including black, matt brown and navy blue crocodile.
