Wolf brings watch winders to London Watch Show

The UK is one of the top ten markets in the world for automatic mechanical watches, which makes it one of the biggest potential markets for the watch winders that keep them ticking when not being worn by their owners.

Pushing hard into this market is Swedish company Wolf Designs, which has been manufacturing stylish presentation boxes for jewellery, watches and other luxury items for 180 years.

Wolf Designs has a particular focus on the UK’s watch retailers and jewellers, which are enjoying rising sales of new and pre-owned mechanical watches. The company hopes to increase the number of stockists throughout the country this year, which is why it is exhibiting at the London Watch Show in July.

“The UK is within the top 10 export markets in the world for Swiss automatics, so it’s terribly important to be here and be seen at the London Watch Show,” said Simon Wolf, the company’s owner. “We love independent retailers and so we are hoping to meet many at the London Watch Show,” he added.

Wolf offers watch winders suitable for watch connoisseurs of every level from a new enthusiast buying their first automatic, to hard core collectors with many timepieces worth million.

“Wolf watch winders are a unique combination of form, function and style completely new to the UK market so visitors will experience ease of use, combined with affordability,” promised Wolf.

The London Watch Show takes place from July 6-7 at Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden, Central London. It will feature over 50 exhibitors presenting their 2014 collections for the first time in the UK.
