Welcome to their world: Depeche Mode and Hublot combine in limited edition watch

Watch brand Hublot and British electronic rock band Depeche Mode have teamed up to produce a limited edition watch to mark the band’s new world tour.

Hublot and the legendary trio have been combining to make watches since 2010. In 2014 it unveiled a limited edition of the Big Bang collection two years ago, which was limited to 250 pieces.

In their most recent move, the pair have confirmed their commitment to charity once again, launching a new fundraising campaign to coincide with Depeche Mode’s 14th album, Spirit and its 2017 tour. A proportion of the watch sales will be donated to the charity:water, which aims to provide clean drinking water to developing countries.

Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO at Hublot, said: “At Hublot, we have adopted the maxim that says ‘alone I go faster; together, we go further’. It is this mindset that guides us in our partnerships. With Depeche Mode, we have a deep respect for what the band represents in terms of its music and the messages which it conveys to the public via its albums.

“We also wanted to create a fusion combining the talent, passion and fame of each of these stars, joining forces and supporting a common cause. And so fans can look forward to an album, a world tour and a limited edition watch to mark the launch of a fundraising campaign for charity: water, as water is the source of everything,” he added.
