Luxury watch brand Le Rhöne’s managing director Loïc Florentin used Baselworld this year to pitch his watches to European buyers, particularly those in the UK.
The company even secured a front cover position on WatchPro in February to make a bold statement of intent in this country.
Le Rhöne hopes to capitalise on the personalisation craze that is beginning to take hold at the top end of the watch market.
For example, its key novelty at Baselworld, a double tourbillon Home-Time, can be personalised and shipped to the final customer in approximately six to eight weeks.
The company works with top end artisans and ateliers in Switzerland on all its watches and told WatchPro at Baselworld that it is working on the development of a brand new movement.
