Watchfinder appoints two marketing managers

Watchfinder has appointed Rob Blake and Gary Robery as marketing managers. The team additions are said to be the next stage in the pre-owned watch specialist’s business expansion. 

Blake and Robery join brand director Lloyd Amsdon and will be based at the company’s head office in Maidstone, Kent.

Blake, who was previously at ToyWatch has been tasked with formulating the marketing strategy for offline marketing and PR, as well as offering retail support to the WF&Co boutique at The Royal Exchange in London. Blake spent two and a half years at ToyWatch and also has over 20 years of marketing and media experience, having previously held senior positions at IMG and MediaCom.

Robery’s will oversee all digital marketing, focusing on traffic conversion, channel selection and database optimisation. Robery joins from Holiday Extras, the airport parking giants, where he worked for seven years. Prior to his time at Holiday Extras, Robery studied business and marketing at Canterbury University.

Speaking about the appointments brand director Lloyd Amsdon said: “I am delighted to welcome Rob and Gary to my team. They bring with them a wealth of experience which will enhance Watchfinder’s growing business.”

The two new appointments are said to reflect Watchfinder’s continued business growth. It is now in its 11th year.
