MB&F has combined its watch making expertise with the The Maison Caran d’Ache to produce the Astrograph writing instrument.
Maximilian Büsser, founder of MB&F, had the original idea of projecting his dreams of conquering space onto a writing instrument. The brand worked with Caran d’Ache to inspire, design and manufacture the instrument – a rocket themed pen.
Büsser’s idea was put to creative teams and the MB&F design lab worked with Caran d’Ache to bring the idea into production.
MB&F have collaborated with other companies in the past. Earlier this year WatchPro reported on the brand’s unveiling of its robotic collaboration with clock-maker L’Epée, Sherman, an eight-day table clock named after the famous American tank.
