Victorinox is exhibiting at global travel retail exhibition TFWE in Cannes this week as it continues to focus on the growing channel for its watches, Swiss Army Knives, fragrances and other accessories.
The company recently appointed Thomas Bodenmann as director of global travel retail with a mission to dramatically extend the reach of Victorinox across airports, airlines, passenger ships and ports.
“Travel retail is an extremely dynamic channel, and for an established and well-respected global brand like Victorinox, it represents a huge untapped opportunity,” says Bodenmann.
“I am really excited to share our multi-category credentials with the industry. The strength of our product portfolio, pocket knives and multi-tools, travel gear, watches and fragrances, combined with the retail expertise we have built up through operating our 60+ retail stores, gives us a very differentiated proposition,” Mr Bodenmann adds.
