Vertime distribution moves from Accurist to Nuval

Nuval has taken over the UK distribution of Vertime from Accurist Watches. The latter plans to focus on the Accurist brand.

Vertime, the Timex Group’s luxury division, designs and produces timepieces for the brands Versace, Versus and Salvatore Ferragamo. Since 2007, the watch brands have been distributed in the UK by Accurist Watches.

By mutual agreement, Accurist Watches will no longer distribute Vertime’s product in the UK.

Accurist CEO Jonathan Crocker said: “Our focus as a brand is on Accurist Watches, we are 100% dedicated to it. Our year so far has been spent adjusting our organisation, working practice and on realigning our brand. This is the next natural step to ensure that we are clear minded in our implementation phase. I would like to thank the directors of Vertime – Paolo and Gianluigi – for their cooperation and support during the handover and for confirming that they will ensure the continuity of supply, service and support to our customers for these brands. I wish them success and good will in their endeavors in the years to come.”

Nuval, which already distributes brands including Philip Stein, Bedat & Co, Ball Watches, Eberhard, Graham and Metal.CH and recently took on Porsche Design, Fendi and Davidoff, will take the reins for the UK distribution of Versace, Versus and Salvatore Ferragamo from August 1.

Veritime CEO Paolo Marai said: “I would like to thank Accurist for the dedication they gave to our brands for the past six years. We enter a new chapter in our brand’s development and as of August the 1, 2013 will be working with our new partner Nuval, led by Mr Jurek Piasecki, to drive these brands to further successes."

All key customers have been contacted with the announcement in advance and contact details have been passed on to them.
