Vacheron Constantin releases free iPad app

Vacheron Constantin has become the latest in a raft of luxury watch brands to launch an iPad app, offering consumers the chance to browse its news, novelties, collections, movements and videos.

The free app has just been launched on Apple’s official App Store and is described as offering “rich content and incredible ease of use”. It is also available to use offline.

The app is divided into seven categories: novelties, collections, movements, favourites, videos, news and points of sale.

The novelties space includes its SIHH-launched models from the Metiers d’Art Les Univers collection, as well as its Infinis line and the Patrimoney Traditionnelle 14-Day Tourbillon.

The app also includes its wider collections, with visuals, technical specifications and full design information for all timepieces, with a special section that underpins the Hallmark of Geneva certification criteria.

The movements feature allows users an in-depth look at the inner workings of Vacheron timepieces, whiles its news and videos sections offer a behind-the-scenes look at the brand.

Stockists for the brands can be found using a special in-built search engine on the app.

Other brands that have launched iPad apps include Bell & Ross, Breitling and Ulysse Nardin.
