Usain Bolt was on hand yesterday to unveil Hublot’s new collection of boutique exclusives at the brand’s London boutique on Bond Street.
The fastest man on the planet was in town, in his role as a Hublot ambassador, for the international reveal of Hublot’s first ever collection of watches that will be exclusively available through its global network of 71 own-brand boutiques.
Bolt, six-time Olympic champion and holder of three world records, selected the Big Bang Unico All Black Blue as his personal favourite, sporting it on his wrist at the appearance.
The Big Bang Unico All Black range is the first in a series of boutique exclusive ranges that will be released each year.
The matt black quartet of watches feature blue, red, green or orange highlights and each colourway uses Hublot’s manufacture chronograph Unico movement, a design featuring a unique column wheel and double clutch configuration visible on the dial.
The Big Bang Unico All Black range uses a strap of alligator leather sewn onto rubber. Hublot boutiques will sport special window wraps to advertise the launch of the collection.
