Zenith has confirmed that 30 watches were stolen during a break in at its Geneva Rue du Rhône boutique, which took place early yesterday morning.
The value of the 30 timepieces and the damage caused come to an estimated value of CHF 1 million (£693,000).
The Zenith boutique on the Rue du Rhône was broken into yesterday morning between 5am and 6am. Initial observations indicated that the burglars smashed through the front door using a ram-raid vehicle, before making off with the contents of the Boutique’s inside displays.
A statement about the incident said that an investigation was in progress and every effort is being made to re-open the Zenith Boutique.
