American watch brand Undone has relied on its creative imagination to bring to life its latest timepiece.
The brand has expanded its collection of Killy watches with the launch of a limited edition range created by ‘Mr Undone’, a fictional cartoon watch builder inspired by a top vintage artist.
The Urban Killy Chronograph x Watches & Pencils 200-piece collection pays homage to the illustrations of Teun Van Heerebeek, a renowned artist who specialises in vintage watches sub-culture and iconic references.
The chronograph features a special ‘Killy’ dial with the Mr Undone icon and the original artwork on the case back display and will become the first watch ever to be emblazoned with Heerebeek’s artwork.
The limited-edition box set includes a Mr Undone watch strap, as well as a cigarette card-sized art print.
A spokesperson for the brand said: “In addition to illustrating Undone’s essence of tailor-making our client’s watches within our production facilities, it is also the debut of ‘Mr Undone’ a fictional cartoon watch builder that was initially conceptualised together with our brand.”
