Ulysse Nardin has launched a new ladies’ timepiece collection – the Lady Marine Chronometer – introducing a more refined version of its previous women’s style.
Dubbed ‘smart, powerful and beautiful’, the Lady Marine Chronometer (gallery above) utilises Ulysses Nardin’s proprietary UN-118 calibre, a self-winding movement with date corrector that allows for forward or backward adjustments.
With a stainless steel or 18ct rose gold case and sporty, understated design, the brand has reworked its ladies chronometer with a smaller 39mm case, while retaining a 60-hour power reserve and feminine details such as a mother of pearl dial.
It also has a choice of leather or rubber straps, and is water resistant to 100m thanks to its rubberised screw-down crown.
A statement from the brand adds: “Like those who came before it, the UN-118 opened a new chapter in the Ulysses Nardin vault of firsts. Its use in the new Lady Marine Chronometer reinforces the manufacture’s reputation for creating world-class marine chronometers and catering to its female collectors. Sensibly stylish, this timepiece is a catalyst for great things to come in watchmaking for women who appreciate both the science and aesthetic behind the master craft.”
