Ulysse Nardin opens own-brand boutique in Geneva

Swiss watch manufacturer Ulysse Nardin has opened its first own-brand boutique in Switzerland – its 18th worldwide.

Located on the Quai des Bergues banks in Geneva, the boutique stays true to the brand’s marine chronometer specialism, with a nautical-inspired setting. Models featuring in the boutique include pieces from the Limited Edition Boutique Exclusive line.

Speaking about the opening of the boutique, Ulysse Nardin CEO Patrik Hoffmann said: “The opening of a Ulysse Nardin Boutique in Geneva marks another milestone in our history as it is our 18th boutique worldwide and the first in Central Europe and moreover the first in Switzerland, the very heart of the watchmaking industry.

“As an extremely innovative and independent manufacture, it was important for us to open the boutique together with a long-time partner, which we found with Chronométrie Kunz, an independent retailer, with a recognised experience of more than 100 years carried forward over four generations since 1896 in Geneva.

He added: " When Sophie and Clarina Kunz approached us with the idea of opening a boutique together last spring, it didn’t take us long to agree and go forward with the planning and the concept, which represents not only fine watchmaking but also reveals part of our important heritage in the manufacture of Marine timepieces."

The Boutique Exclusive line includes the Blue Toro, the Freak Diavolo Platinum, and the Blue Executive Dual Time watches.
