UK watch brand Shore Projects steps up US expansion

British watch brand Shore Projects says it is now shipping its products to 95 countries worldwide after a concerted effort to grow its international business.

The company claims to have made huge strides abroad in the past 12 months, with its progress in the US market a particular cause for celebration.

Shore Projects started its US expansion with a launch into Nordstroms and Bloomingdales and insists that it has seen a “continued strong sell through” across major US cities, such as New York, Chicago, Dallas and San Francisco.

To further the growth, it has now appointed a ‘head of USA market’ and will be actively building a team to cater to US and international customers.

Neil Waller, co-founder at Shore Projects, said: “The continued success of the brand for both sell in and sell through internationally shows our British seaside inspired watches have resonated both locally and with an international consumer. We have some great new collections and collaborations launching this year and are excited about what 2016 will bring.”

Shore Projects was founded by a close group of friends in search of a British inspired, simple, durable classic watch. The brand is continuing its partnership with the Marine Conservation Society, donating £1 to the charity for every watch sold.
