Timex Group UK has appointed a new managing director, Stuart Bisset, who will be responsible for the Timex, Nautica and Marc Ecko brands.
Bissett, who has a background in retail buying, was to date the head of buying and merchandising at UK-wide high street pawnbroker and gold buyer Albemarle & Bond.
He replaces Gavin Crilly-Mckean in the role, with Crilly-Mckean promoted to vice president of EMEA.
Bissett has more than 25 years experience in retail buying and category management, and is set to join Timex’s UK team in January 2013.
The Timex brand has been undergoing a repositioning of late, evolving into a fashion-led brand with help from brand agency MHP.
