If there is one thing we would have liked in our stocking this Christmas, it would have to be this ice-cool Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Squadra Art Ice watch.
This wintery wonder is an 18ct white gold timepiece that boasts a twinkling 1,755 sapphires and 1,300 diamonds, totalling 9.7cts.
The stones have been set using, coincidentally, the snow-setting technique whereby each gem is selected by size, carefully positioned and then set so that the metal appears to vanish below it. The result is a shimmering finish that melts into its sleek satin strap.
While the watch was originally made for the 2011 Venice Film Festival, its beauty continues to wow, enough so that we could not resist showcasing it in our final issue of 2012.
