The February issue of WatchPro is out now

The February issue of WatchPro is out now, available in both print and digital formats.

The issue features a review of UK watch sales during 2015 from GfK’s Jonathan Hedges that reveals falling volumes sales have failed to halt a growth in value sales, resulting in a market that is now worth £1.3bn annually.

We also have Q&As with the UK distributors of both Louis Erard watches, Daniel McNutt of Apex Luxury, and Zeppelin and Junkers, Hans Brandt.

Our latest quarterly smart watch supplement, SmartWatchPro, looks at why smart watches were almost nowhere to be found at the world’s biggest consumer electronics show, CES, in January. We also put three of the most high profile Android Wear smart watches head-to-head to discover what can be achieved with Google’s smart watch tech platform.

We also bring you details of the new watches being show at Jewellery & Watch Birmingham and Munich’s Inhorgenta this month.

There is also a feature on WatchPro’s visit to Cartier’s La Chaux-de-Fonds manufacture to discover the incredible lengths that the legendary jewellery-turned-respected-watch maker go to the produce incredible complications and decorative timepieces.
