Steffans had a celebrity watch shopper this festive period when Doctor Who came knocking at the Northampton store.
Matt Smith, who plays The Doctor in the current BBC TV series Doctor Who, bought two watches from Steffans during his visit.
Never one to miss an opportunity, owner Steff Stuter posed for a photograph with Smith and his Steffans bag containing his two new watches.
Suter said: “He came in and shopped for over an hour. [He’s a] very nice guy. Our customers in the shop loved it.”
Smith lives in London but was born in Northampton where Steffans has its shop.
Separately, Steffans has been working to build up its Facebook fans and the retailer is now inching towards the 9,000 mark with 8,864 likes on the social networking site.
