TAG Heuer has reduced the size of its Carrera Heuer – 01 from 45mm to 43mm.
Originally launched in 2015, the skeletonised chronograph was notable for its CHF 5000 price tag – a considerable investment, but viewed as a whole lot of craftsmanship for the money.
The 2017 edition will be shown at Baselworld in black, blue and brown versions and the price remains the same CHF 5000 (£3975).
The Heuer-01’s trademark skeletonised dial shows chronograph operating levers and the date disc from the front while the crystal case back gives a glimpse at the red column wheel.
All of the watch’s chrono functions – central seconds, a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour counter and the Start/Stop push-button – are coloured red in a nod to the world of motor racing.
Fastening options include a black rubber strap, brown or blue alligator, steel or matt black ceramic bracelet.
