Swatch launched its latest UK store in Nottingham’s intu Victoria Centre on Good Friday.
The 45sq mt store becomes the 19th store in Swatch’s UK retail network in a city that ranks in the UK’s top ten most successful city centres.
The new store will feature the Irony XLite campaign on unique canvas walls, which allow the “look and feel” of the store to be changed regularly in accordance to the latest marketing campaign.
The store will feature a dedicated Flik Flak area for the world’s best-selling children’s watch range, which has been designed with children in mind with watches at eye level. The store also features a 210cm wall clock based on the Swatch Maxi watch, to which three new designs have been added in 2015.
The first 50 customers to enter the store received cards attached to helium balloons offering prizes ranging from Swatch watches to canvas toiletry bags and free annual memberships to the Swatch Club. Those buying a watch on the day were also offered the chance to spin the ‘Sweel of Fortune’ to win a prize.
