Suunto has released its Ambit3 collection, including the brand’s first Bluetooth products compatible with smartphones.
The Suunto Ambit3 Peak and Ambit3 Sport GPS watches work in conjunction with the Suunto Smart Sensor for heart rate monitoring and the new Suunto Movescount app to track, analyse and share your sporting and leisure activities.
The Sport is geared to track performance while running, swimming and cycling with GPS functionality ensuring accurate pace, route navigation while the heart rate monitor allows the user to tailor their exercise to optimal levels. The Sport will retail for £275.
While the third generation Peak represents the Ambit collection’s new flagship product offering navigation, barometric information, altimeter and 3D compass functions all geared towards outdoor use.
The Peak has double the battery life of the Sport with up to 50 hours in GPS mode and features glass fibre reinforced casing and a stainless steel bezel to ensure durability in the field. A Sapphire edition also features a sapphire crystal glass. Retail prices for the Peak start at £360.
The two updated collections are launched alongside Suunto’s blutooth Smart Sensor for heart rate tracking which, when attached to Suunto’s heart rate belt, can even be used while swimming.
