Six weeks after opening a dedicated watch store in Eastbourne called Inspired Watches owner Ashley Pugh has described the venture as a success.
The shop, which specialises in fashion-led watches with retail price tags of £500 or less, opened in the city’s Arndale Centre in June and is a sister store to the company’s Inspired by Brufords and W Bruford retail stores, also both within Eastbourne.
Pugh has described the store as “going really well” and added that key brands for the retailer have been Ice-Watch and Casio. Inspired Watches has just introduced Ice-Watch furniture to the store and has been one of the first retailers to do so.
The unit that Inspired Watches occupies in the Arndale Centre was previously occupied by Inspired by Brufords, the mini chain’s fashion-led branded jewellery fascia, which has now moved to a larger unit in the centre.
The retailer’s W Bruford store is still located on the city’s Cornfield Road and stocks a selection of high-end watch brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Breitling and Omega.
