British watch brand Pinion has teamed up with a cult Japanese denim manufacture for its latest watch design.
The new partnership between Piers Berry’s fledgling watch brand and Iron Heart Works Incorporated is designed to produce a range of new timepieces and products.
The first of those is the IHWA-01 (Iron Heart Watch 01), a limited edition 42mm Swiss-manufactured watch based on Pinion’s Axis Steel.
The IHWA-01 will feature the Iron Heart logo with ‘Pride of Japan’ engraving on the steel caseback while each watch will be ?nished, tested and assembled in the UK by Pinion’s experienced watchmakers.
Shinichi Haraki, founder and owner of Iron Heart, said: “Pinion and Iron Heart both have a passion for creating items that perfectly combine both form and function. Our products do what they do with lots of style but a minimum of fuss. I am delighted to be partnering with Pinion”
The watch will be sold through Iron Heart and will be ready to ship in the autumn.
