Mappin & Webb has re-opened its Scottish flagship boutique in Glasgow at the entrance to the famous Argyll Arcade on Buchanan Street after a three month refurbishment.
The 2,280 sq ft boutique occupies two floors joined by a marble staircase.
The store sells Breitling, Jaeger LeCoultre, Chopard, Cartier and TAG Heuer watches alongside its high end jewellery portfolio of brands and its own bridal lines.
In the heart of Glasgow, the Argyll Arcade offers the largest selection of diamond rings, diamond jewellery and wedding rings in a single location in Scotland and is often regarded as the diamond jewellery centre of the North, home to more than 30 jewellers and diamond merchants all under one roof.
Executive director at Mappin & Webb Craig Bolton said: “It’s an exciting time to open the doors to our Buchanan Street Mappin & Webb marking a significant investment in order to reaffirm its flagship status. Glasgow is a thriving retail hub where we are confident the brand will flourish even more so as we embark on this new chapter.
“We have historically been connected to famous clients and continue to be used by fashion icons today and we are incredibly proud of our highly regarded relationship with the royal family. Our history in Glasgow is rich having been here in the same spot for 10 years and much longer on Buchanan Street in general.”
Boutique manager Jamie Fraser added: “The team are delighted to welcome our first clients over the coming weeks to showcase our stunning new boutique which has been elegantly refurbished throughout, befitting the heritage and prestige that is now the Mappin & Webb brand standard of the future.”
