‘Smash and grab’ online training platform relaunches to raise awareness

StoneHawk has launched its new website in a bid to raise awareness of the company’s approved ‘smash and grab’ training programme.

The company offers four-hour training courses for watch shops, jewellers and pawnbrokers across the UK, which are designed to help protect staff, stock and brands and make businesses ‘less of a target’ for criminals.

The new website will now promote Stonehawk’s training programme and focus on the importance of knowing exactly what to do should an incident occur.

Simon Wilson, MD of StoneHawk says: “The launch of our new website goes another step further towards raising the awareness of our recognised and approved #StopSmashandGrabs training.

“Testimonials already showing on the website from jewellers, insurance brokers and associations endorse the training well. One of the stand out aspects is how trained staff feel empowered and much more confident in their duties.”

The training programme, which can also be delivered in a designated training suite, provides staff with the skills to open and close showrooms effectively; raises their situational awareness during the day to know what to do in the event of a smash and grab; shows how to provide the police with the best information and scene preservation, and also raises awareness of trauma and how this can affect them and their colleagues.

The StoneHawk training course is available to both independents and brands with multiple showrooms.
