If you haven’t heard of MyKronoz yet, you soon will. The company is one of the hottest start-up watch companies on crowd funding platform Kickstarter, having raised $6 million from 30,000 backers in its latest round for the hybrid smartwatch ZeTime.
The ZeTime is a hybrid smartwatch with mechanical hands over a TFT colour touchscreen.
It is sold as a watch that combines the classic design of a traditional Swiss timepiece with the most advanced features of a smartwatch.
Most touchscreen smartwatches, like the Apple Watch, have to be charged every night. The same is true of ZeTime’s, but the addition of analogue hands means that it will at least keep telling the time for a month.
The £180 hybrid is available in 44mm and 39mm models.
