Last night Seiko hosted a Q&A evening with ATP World Number 1 tennis player and brand ambassador Novak Djokovic.
The Japanese watch brand pledged an initial £2,000 to the Serb’s foundation, which sets out to benefit children’s education, as part of the evening and an extra £500 after losing a game of table tennis.
Held at the Knightsbridge boutique on Brompton Road, Djokovic answered a host of questions in front of an intimate audience and provided an informative narrative to the 14-time Grand Slam winner’s career.
On achieving the World No.1 title, Djokovic said: “There’s always a part of me which really believes I can always be the best in the world all of the time but it took self-confidence and determination. At the same time it was quite improbable about five months ago.”
The exclusive event took place during the Nitto ATP Finals in London, where Djokovic is currently competing for the Masters Cup.
