Schofield offers the last DLC as prize

Schofield is giving away the final example of its acclaimed Signalman DLC watch as part of a competition to celebrate the reception of the watch.

Schofield founder Giles Ellis was keen to point out that the competition is not just open to Schofield’s growing public fanbase, but to people within the watch industry who he believes were instrumental to the Signalman’s success.

The DLC version, with an RRP of £4,050, was limited to just 100 examples and is almost entirely coated in black Diamond Like Carbon, except for the highly polished crown. The Signalman takes its design inspiration from the great British Lighthouses of the 18th and 19th Century and while 99 of the series have been individually numbered, Ellis has something special planned for the competition prize. A special caseback has been created engraved with the phrase ‘The Last One’ for an added level of exclusivity.

To enter the competition visit Schofield’s website to submit your prose centred around the letters ‘DLC’ which can be just three words or ‘the length of an epic novel’.

The competition will close on February 28 at 12noon and a winner will be announced in March.
