Czapek & Cie to unveil a new ladies collection at SalonQP

Czapek & Cie will unveil a new Ladies Collection at SalonQP this year along with the Czapek No25 bis, a domed ‘soleillé’ steel version of the gentlemen’s collection. It will be an exclusive collection of only 25 pieces.

The brand, which traces its historic and aesthetic roots to the Polish watchmaker Francois Czapek, was officially revived last year. Its first Quai des Bergues collection was inspired by the 3430, a 1850 pocket watch created by Czapek when he was 39 years old.

The watch has already earned the respect of lovers of haute horlogerie around the world, the brand says. Czapek have reviewed the size and proportions of the watch and have announced the introduction of Quai des Bergues Lady. With a strong feminine identity, Quai des Bergues Lady retains the best of the original model, both aesthetically and mechanically, whist being presented in a 38mm case.

The collection comprises six models all of which retain the Calibre SXH1 proprietary mechanical hand-wound movement created for the Quai des Bergues collection launched last year.

Other features include a seven day power reserve on two barrel springs, fine fleur de lys hands which are available both in black rhodium plated gold and in blue rhodium plated gold. All watches feature a mother of pearl dial and the counters of seconds and power reserve lose their hands in favour of a rotating disc.
