Roger Dubuis has announced that it will take part in the first Asia haute horlogerie exhibition Watches & Wonders, which is taking place from September 25 to 28, 2013.

The trade show is taking place this month at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center and has attracted a host of luxury brands including Cartier, Richard Mille, Piaget and Vacheron Constantin.

Roger Dubuis is one of the latest to sign up. Its exhibition space will feature the Crowned Eagle and Key motif to represent quality hallmark the Poinçon de Genève, which certifies the watchmakers timepieces.

There will also be an area dedicated to fine watchmaking skills, including demonstrations.

It will also feature The Mastery of Time exhibition, which will trace the history of timekeeping through the ages.

Commenting on the event, Roger Dubuis CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué said: “We are thrilled to be part of this platform for culture and learning. Held in a strategic location for the fast-growing Asian markets, this is a great opportunity to strengthen ties and foster exchanges with connoisseurs, collectors and enthusiasts in this part of the world. As is the case with our participation in other important trade events held on various continents, this geographical proximity will symbolise our wish to effectively serve and remain close to the customers, journalists and retailers who help propagate and nurture the global reputation of our Manufacture.”

The Watches and Wonders event will occupy 10,000 sq m at the Hong Kong Exhibition Centre and is run by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH).
