Richard Mille jumps at the chance of a new partnership to boost women’s watch sales

Richard Mille has added to its list of sporting partners as Ukranian high jump champion, Yuliya Levchenko, joins the brand.

40% of Richard Mille’s sales come from the women’s watch market which is why a partnership deal with the current high jump world number two makes sense.

The deal will see Levchenko go for gold on the field whilst wearing the RM 07-01 Automatic Ladies watch.

Richard Mille is known for its working with such high-performance athletes, and Levchenko can see why.

She said: “I used to think of watches mostly as fashion accessories. What I like about Richard Mille is the idea of bringing together the friends of the brand, it’s like a team. Some are sportspeople, but others are not. There are also artists and actors. I love this vision; it’s almost as if I’ve joined a new family. Everyone knows that sport brings people together and it seems as though Richard Mille does so too.”
