Citizen premiership final

Premiership Rugby final lit up by Citizen

Citizen, the official timekeeper of Aviva Premiership Rugby, is launching a series of competitions ahead of the premiership final on 28 May.

Citizen will be encouraging people to guess the time of the first try in the final during its build-up through its social media channels and an online competition. Participants will stand the chance to win signed rugby shirts and balls, as well as a Citizen Eco-Drive watch.

The watch brand will also have a homepage takeover on the Premiership Rugby website as well as featuring on the official social media channels. Additionally, during the final itself, five fans who discover one of the special golden tickets in their match day programme will win a Citizen Eco-Drive watch worth up to £399.

This bold campaign from Citizen will reach over one million rugby fans. The 82,000 spectators at Twickenham on the day of the final will also see Citizen’s LED displays, branded stadium clock and on-screen branding shown during the game, which will be televised by BT Sport.
