Police customer wins Barcelona trip on scratchcard

A Manchester jeweller proved to be the link between one of its customers and a once-in-a-lifetime experience courtesy of Police watches.

Customer Mark Purcell received a scratchcard from Grade A Jewellery in Ashton-under-Lyne when he bought a Police watch instore.

The scratchcard, available at every Police point-of-sale, was part of a competition staged by Police to celebrate the brand’s wider association with Barcelona footballing star Neymar Jr. A code on the card allowed customers to register their entry on a dedicated microsite.

The competition offered hundreds of experience days including helicopter rides, football stadium tours and racing days along with a main prize that offered one lucky winner the opportunity to visit Barcelona and travel with FC Barcelona to an away game and meet the team.

Out of 321 entrants Mark scooped the main prize and has just returned from Barcelona with his wife.
