Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Chastain will be Brand Ambassadors for Piaget in 2018, and have already appeared in photo shoots for the launch of an Altiplano Ultimate Automatic 910P and an Extremely Lady collection that will first be seen at January’s SIHH exhibition in Geneva.
Both collections are squarely aimed at the prestige dress watch market where slimness and opulence are most highly valued.
At 4.3mm thick, the Altiplano Ultimate Automatic builds on 60 years of producing the world’s thinnest timepieces.
It is offered in either a rose or white gold 41mm case housing a mechanical automatic Calibre 910P that is exposed thanks to a combination of an offset dial creating space for partial skeletonisation.
The Extreme Lady has a touch of the 1960s about its pairing of intricate gold work and oval dial in a collection that offers a range of colours and finishes across its cases, dials and straps in order to work with any ballgown.
The model pictured here is in 18ct pink gold with a bezel set with 24 brilliant-cut diamonds framing a white mother-of-pearl dial. It is presented on an 18ct pink gold fur decoration bracelet.
