Perrelet unveiled its most accessible watch yet at BaselWorld, eschewing the flashy charms of some of its previous designs in favour of a more restrained, technical design.
The Turbine Pilot maintains the brand’s signature rotating turbine dial feature but does so in a design featuring matt black PVD and satin-finished stainless steel with only subtle touches yellow and red.
The brand is better known for bright, vibrant designs that culminated in the hypnotic Turbine Paranoia, but the new of aviation-themed Turbine Pilot sees Perrelet offer a watch that would suit everyday wear.
The Turbine Pilot is powered by the manufacture automatic P-331 calibre and is 48mm in diameter, although is not overbearing on the wrist. Because of the rotating turbine dial the white hour indices and Arabic numerals are applied to the sapphire crystal creating a three dimensional effect. Black rubber and calf leather straps are available.
